  • Well, I'm sorry to tell you that you will never receive your refund. The best thing to do is to notify the local authorities and all the major hotels in the area about this group. I did that and wage a permanent campaign against them. Thus far they have changed their name several times. They now call themselves JetStream Travel These guys are scum buckets. There is this one guy who is as smooth as silk. Jesse he calls himself. Bald and slick like his head. They all know they are stealing money but don't seem to care. Sorry you got screwed. I'm trying to help but it is a slow process.

  • I too wasted my time attending an exceeded expectations presentation which was filled with air and empty promises. Because of your warnings, the Orbital certificates are going in the trash or maybe sent to the NY attorney general. Thanks to you all for the warning. All others be warned this is a scam.

  • I was sent a notice that we had won airline tickets and hotel stay and if we called back to confirm we would get a bonus 100 in free gas. I also went on line and see how this was a scam too. To send money to activate it and then have to pay taxes its not free I bet if you end up doing it you have to pay more for what its worth and you cant go during any holidays. So my guess is its a big scam and they should have to give people real certificates for the time wasted. Who in the right mind would give almost 9000 plus 3hundred and something plus 199 a month to get a lower vacation, and if you didn't pay 199 a month you lost. everything

  • My wife and I were invited to the same location on 12/4/2013. When we registered they asked us for a valid Credit Card (NOT DEBIT)- we were appalled and we don't use Credit (Dave Ramsey). I wrote that on the sign in and after sitting for 10 minutes, one of the sales leads approached us and gave us the vouchers claiming that we did not meet their criteria, and we would not have to sit the presentation. The whole deal - Orbital Promotions, City Travel Brokers, etc. stinks worse than a crimeshare presentation. At least with the timeshare the promotion item or gift usually works out!

  • I was sent a notice in the mail with "Personal & Confidential" written on the notice. I called the number provided. I was told that I would get two round trip tix for airfare & hotel worth $1,398. I asked what the catch was, and I was told that there was no catch. I had to show up at a hotel, Holiday Inn, for a presentation. 1st of all, they overbooked. I guess they wanted as much people there as possible. Anyway, we were given 2 vouchers. One was for the airfare, and the other was for hotel. For the airfare, we had to pay $35 to reserve the offer for a year, and another $70 to mail in our voucher. For the hotel, there was a $25 & a $50 fee. The card mentioned that we would receive our tix within 15 days. As soon as I saw that they were asking for money, I saw the red flag, and that's when I decided to do the research. Does it make sense to pay $180, in total, for something that is supposed to be free? I told hubby that it was too good to be true.

  • Attended a spiel at the Marriott in Rye given by Jet Stream Travel Club. did not buy anything! we were given travel vouchers and just googled this so we will not send in our $120 to orbital. Called the Marriot and told them that they should not rent rooms to scam artists. Said that they can't discriminate!!!

  • HA! So we too attended one of these sales's pitches and I was about to mail in the card and money (both of which I still have) and thought I'd do a search to see if I could do this over the interwebs, just so it'd be faster. Well, imagine my surprise when the FIRST thing that pop's up for Orbital Promotions was this complaint!
So my question, has ANYONE had this work for them? I mean, send in the money and get the airline flights? It's the ONLY reason we went to this thing. Please respond. (Personal Information Removed). Thanks!

  • I had the same exact experience in Rye Brooke, NY. Same phone number, but here they called themselves "JetStream Promotions". It was a hot sales pitch. The lifetime membership for $8,995, but only if you bought it that night. If you tried "sleeping on it" the same money got you a 10 year membership with a bunch of restrictions. The first couple in the room to sign up got $1,000 off so it became a race to see who could get suckered first. We bolted for the door, but not before some poor couple bought in. We got the same "Orbital Promotions" voucher for our "free" gift, which cost $70 to "activate" plus taxes on tickets. We are not sending in the money for that either. They are slick. They took the postcard they sent us, so we don't have that evidence. But we have the vouchers. Also, in order to get the vouchers you were required to sign waivers obsolving "JetStream Promotions" (also supposedly of Key Largo FL, but no such company exists there) of any responsibility for anything. I encourage all others who experienced this to post the names used, locations, etc. This is a traveling scam circus and it needs to shut down, and these people need to to prison..
