International boundaries

Logistics Group International, is a scam. Like I and others that have been a victim. Please be Aware of this company. They search you through either Career Builder or Snag a Job and let you know that your resume was given to them by their HR Dept. So you rec'd an email. This company is a third parrty shipper, they have used and linked their website browser to another legitimate company. The website for this scam is logisitcsgroupint.com when you look into it, it then links into this website called International Logistics Group. Website looks legitmate because it is a legitimate company. Only differences is that the name has been changed. The Scam Artist has used, and also used their logo's. too. The scam is the name changed is International Logistics Group, the real legitimate company is call National Logistics Group. So Please be very Aware of this. This company called Logistic Group Int is a scam artist, they have you ship goods from your address to over sea's. Please be Aware. If your caught up in this matter it is now to get out, I'm glad I did before anything else could happen, This company has you use your address to sent out to oversea's. Everything with them seems to legit. But I had to do more investigation. If you stumbled into a company like this have your Postal Inspector check it out first. Plus if your still uncomfortable do like what I did google it. That is how I check it out, I notified the actual company call National Logistics Group and asked questions, of course they don't do third party and also do not ship oversea's. Plus they haven't heard of a company called Logistics Group Int. They had no idea that a scam artist like Logistics Group Int. would use their website. I hope that something in this matter justice will be served for companies like Logistics Group Int.

  • Dan-your email address was removed. We only know that whoever these people are it seems that they are contacting anyone that have used careerbuilder or another online job search company. Since we are a Defense contractor we have turned it over to higher security. We do not know why we were targeted but do know that we are not the only company that has been. We are a small business and run our company with the upmost ethical morals and values. It is a shame that there are people out there like this that try to destroy you for no particular reason but their own personal gain.

  • awalker - I have been recently contacted from a mail address: tomasschwarzwald(monkey)logisticsgroupint.com . He claims that he is the HR director for the company. He sent me a contract(seemed valid), and asked for a valid id. I have sent him back the subscribed contract along with my scanned id. I've found this forum just minutes ago, so sent him a mail not to send me any packages. Where can I send the email owners IP for further investigation?

  • I would try sending it to the Postal Inspector, and the FBI. I've notified both, but if they get enough complaints maybe they will investigate further. At least we can hope. tybopi, glad you caught it in time.

Like everyone else I was contacted as well and it seemed legit, I just started receiving packages, I think yesterday was my first day. I have 3 packages that are waiting to go out. What should I do with them and how do I get them to stop contacting me? PLEASE HELP!!

  • Wendy - take the packages to the post office and explain the situation. They will send them to the recovery center. Then contact the postal Inspector and file a claim/complaint. See what additional info you can get out of these thieves/scammers, and then put a block on their email correspondence. You might want to put a block on your bank account if you gave them that info. Also, you might want to notify the credit bureaus and place an alert. It is a bummer, but hopefully if we band together we can help prosecute these people.... Dan

  • Wendy - anything you can get as to their location would be really good, but anything that helps to locate these thieves is helpful. If they know you're on to them, then they probably won't give you much, but it never hurts to try. I don't know much about cell phones, but it wouldn't hurt to contact your provider and ask some questions. Hope this helps you... Dan

  • That's a website they stole from somebody else. She's not going to tell you because they are probably located outside of the US. I've already been down that road. It's a dead end. If she keeps communicating, just keep trying to get more info. That's all you can do. I think they're in Russia somewhere, but I can't prove it. I just hope they make a mistake, and somebody catches them.

  • Are you kidding? Looks like I've been scammed AGAIN, also!! They contacted me, too..Same thing. My guy's name is Jorge Rodrigues and he claims to be the Personnel Mgr. for Logistics Group Int...News! They changed their website to www.logisticsgroupint.net.. The first time I searched for them, I entered .com, and got a bunch of possibilities, then went back and checked and noted it was .net. When I typed it in, up came a big website telling you all about the company. The messed-up part is that I just checked them out again today, and the website was totally different!! AND, it was the ONLY site that came up! Anyway, I emailed them on the site and asked about career opportunities. Hopefully, I'll hear back. I've been out of work for 10 months, and was PRAYING this was legit. What a bummer! I'm supposed to start receiving packages this week. Guess I better email old Jorge and tell him I quit..lol. Yes, it does say Boston, MA. Did any of you guys actually receive packages from them? Jorge told me that I would receive an email from him with a shipping label attached with the postage paid...What made me think it was a scam was the fact that they tell you that they will pay you back the amount you pay in Federal & State taxes. Thank God I didn't spend any money yet! He told me to buy a scale to weigh packages! I hope someone catches them, too!

  • Sherry: Same company! Let me know if you get PAID!! How many packages did you mail out? You're supposed to get paid per package for the "trial" period (the first 4 weeks)..Then, if they like your work, you're supposed to get $2300 plus the package commission... Leave a note in this site if you get paid. I'm thinking that either you won't get paid, or they'll drop you and you won't get the $2300. But DEFINITELY let us know here what happens!!

  • They said you get paid for the trial basically 2 months in on your first check. What should I do with the packages I keep getting? I was a little worried at first because I feel like I'm opening someone else's mail and shipping it to someone else. Ps3, iPhone, and a few gps's. I don't want to get into trouble for not sending the packages anywhere. I haven't spent any money but gas to the post office. My contacts name is Alecia Colvin. I've seen her name mentioned once on this site!

(it's like they don't want the receiver to know its from anyone but me)

  • They could be stealing all these packages from their rightful owners! I would go to your post office and let them know what's going on. I got caught up in a different scam from Russsia, also. They had me proof-reading and re-typing TONS of long business emails, etc...THEN after a couple of weeks of that (for which they were supposed to pay me but never did), they wanted me to start receiving large checks, depositing them in my account, and then keep 10% and send the rest to them via Western Union... That's where I drew the line! All I lost was a few hours of my time.

I told them to stop sending me packages and the packages I did receive from them I took to the Post Office and asked them to forward them to the Postal Inspector. If you still have packages I would call the Postal Inspector and tell them your situation. I hope things work out! :0)

I used 411.com to research the address on their Agreement Letter (Richards St. 2, Boston Ma.) and there is no existence of a business there. So thank you for the heads up about this company.

  • Hi, im been "working" for this company too, for almost 4 weeks, as i read in this post and other in this page nobody get paid, but nobody get the job done either? all the people in here said " i find this is a scam" okay but how can you know that if you dont finish the "job" I received the email as everybody in here, i ask questions about the job, and i got answers, after that i received the agreement i think 6 pages, i read it, and sign it, and they say im in my trial month, everything sounds legitim till here, my "boss" name is Sarah Winsted, im getting packages and reshipping all of them, about if the items inside the packages are stolen I DONT THINK SO, because every package i received comes with a receipt and a site online, for example i received some LEGO TOYS, and i went online and check it out and yes those toys was bought there, danwalshca said he will tell us if he get paid but that was 3 months ago, is that a yes? or a no? im getting paid in a cople weeks or thats what they said, so i will post if i get paid or not, Maybe is a scam, maybe not, but is our responsability, because we accept the job without made a search first this including me, i did a research about if it was a scam but i didnt find something wrong at least no under this company name, untill now, so lets wait to se if they pay or not, if anybody else get paid after the trial please post, Thanks and best wishes for everybody.

  • I have worked for this company for 4 weeks and no paycheck was submitted, also on a previous comment someone had listed her name Sarah Winstead,When I work for them, I had to report all messages and incoming/out coming shipment to a Alison Winstead. With that saying, you should know that a company like this is not legit. This type of business will always be around here, I had this report to the Post Inspector, and all they could do is write a report, they are aware of this matter. But with all shipments coming thru its hard to detain these culprits. But, I must say since I had this company submitted to this website Scambook. It has help people like us to get other's out there aware of what is going on. Again, the Post Inspector in my district has flag a red alert with this company name. Things are happening, but not fast enough like we would want it.

  • Also, It was reportly recent that, several companies with names very close to this one and also function with the same work ethics were detained recently. Again, it takes a awhile, but with reports like what you do,continues to help the Postal Service and there legal actions to bring them down. So Please, continue to report them don't stop what your doing. Any information that you could submitted to the Postal Service helps them tremendously.

  • Sherry, It's good that you heard about that company thru this site.. Your situation was just like mines, I rec'd 4 tires without no notifications, Yes 4 tires. I had email her. It took her atlease 1 whole wk to get back with me regarding the set of tires here. I email everyday to her since those tires had arrived. I final received a tracking invoice and ofcourse send it to Russia. It was strange to me when the invoice with tracking number where with the same name of recent invoices that I received previously. But, like I mentioned before I had reported to the Postal Service/Inspector. Tires went out, and later about few wks after. I received the Tires I sent out, coming back to me One by One each day. I received all but 1 tire. Invoice came back with one of the tires. It was in Russian and No one @ the Postal Service here could read Russian. Now I have 3 Brand New tires seating in my outside Storage Rm. I also email Alison Winstead and No Answer/Comment was returned back to me.

  • They got me too. The only loss I had was Gas and some tape and packing materials. After my first payroll deposit was late I contacted 3 people from this scam company. Walter Linderman, Rita Svennson and a William Johnson. All had some type of European accent. They all used emails with the correct domain for the company on the web. However upon finally getting ahold of Globalink, They had never heard of any of these people. What finally made me suspicious even before they never paid me was a letter I received from Cabela's which prompted me to call. They had a reported purchase with a stolen credit card. I told them I did not know what they were talking about. They said that the unit shipped to my address. After that I was getting suspicious but just a day after that I reported it to my contact at "Global" after that they never answered their phone or any emails.
