I booked my wedding flowers, wedding cake and decor package with Anne Vu, under her company designs2impress. I had met with Anne on several occassions to discuss my wedding plans and give her the required deposits. I booked with her because her prices were reasonable, and the work looked good from the photos she had shown me. I even met with Anne a few weeks prior to my wedding and gave her some decor I has purchased, as she said she would decorate my ceremony arch for free if I had provided the materials. On the day of the wedding, she was suppose to arrive at 11:00 am. At 11:30am, my bridemaids and I started to get a bit worried. We called her non-stop off the hook for at least 2 hours. She did not pick up the phone nor did she return any of our calls. We called our reception venue and asked them if they had recieved the flower centerpieces, but they did not show up there either. Nothing we had paid for arrived at the venue! So an hour prior to the wedding, we had to run out to the local florist and get bouquets made! Therefore, we were left with no wedding decor, no fresh flower centerpieces and no bouquets. The day after the wedding, my mom, sister and husband went to pay Anne Vu a little visit. When they arrived at her house, she pretended like she had no idea what we were talking about and didn't have the money to pay us back. She didn't even apologize once! At that point, she signed a contract saying she was going to pay us the money back in one week. When we got back from our Honeymoon, we tried contacting Anne Vu via email and telephone. She did not return any of our calls nor has responded to any emails. At this point, we have gotten a lawyer and we are going to be suing her for all damages.
