I booked anne(no respect, no capitals) for my wedding cake and flowers for my wedding in a week. I met her in November, she seemed to be ligit, since she has a website, FB..etc
I put a deposit down, 50%.
I have contacted her since Novemeber and she responded a few times so I thought everything was still good. A friend of mine told me she was moving in June, so I emailed her and said I wanted to make final payment and I needed her new address. All she emailed me back was how much was owed.
July 1st I attended a friends wedding. She went through anne for her cake. The cake never showed!! We were both furious so we both tried calling her and how convienent her phone was off. I emailed her and told her the situation. Of course I didn't hear back from her and still haven't to this day. I have tried to contact her many times and she has picked up but then hung up when she realized who I was. I have then since, contacted the police for fraud, complained about her on KIJIJI, went to the better business bureau and now in contact with the courts. She can not do this to anyone anymore, this is just not right and can not keep getting away with this. Please if you are reading this and have gone through the same thing, contact the peel police and file a complaint and also on the business bureau. The more people the better to make her stop!! DO NOT USE THIS PERSON!!! BIG TIME FRUAD!!!!

    This site does not show our personal information so I can not get a hold of you. I have everything in order now and have a new cake and flowers and I am very happy that I found this out before my wedding day. I feel horrible for the Brides that had to go through this on their wedding day. It is not fair. I hope something gets done about this!

    I am glad you were able to find this out prior to your wedding. Unfortunately I did not and had no wedding flowers or cake delivered by anne on my July 28th wedding day! I've been in contact with several people that have experienced the same thing, we are going to the media! Like you said, we need to put a stop to her before she ruins other brides bid day! I will follow up with peel police tomorrow and currently going through the courts as well and suing her for the 2900$ she stole from me! If your interested in sharing your story with the media, please let me know! The more people we can get, the more likely they will pick up our story and share in the news!

  • Do either of you have a Facebook page/account? I desperately need to reach both Marisa and Nicole about your weddings. If you could give me your last names/profile pictures on facebook, maybe I can try and find you. Either that, or can we contact the admin of Scambook and see if we can get eachother's information? By the way, if you do a search on kijiji for design2impress, she is advertising again and her phone number is also there.

  • Hey guys, I am sorry you all have also been scammed by anne. I can't believe she is trying to do business again. I am in the process of suing her for the money she stole from me as well. Do any of you know if this is the correct address for her or which house is actually hers?

    Yes she is really trying to continue to scam ppl. It kills me to know that ppl do this and think they can get away with it!
    Im sorry that you also had to go through this too. I have no clue what her address is sorry. She wouldnt give it to me, obviously cause she knew.

  • I got a process server company to try and deliver the documents to her for the claim against her. They said that the address (1001 weston road) was for a mechanic - but on google maps it looks like there is a house next door with the same address. They are going to try there again.
