Thy offer a sports betting software (pod trading). They market that the returns are a modest $50000 per annum. Unfortunately the returns are actually much more modest than marketed. In my experience, $2000 in the first year. I asked for a refund and was refused. They produced an upgraded version of the software as the origional version could not be repaired. The new version was worse than the origional and according to Tony Matern of ltc services, my internet access was not sufficient to run the software, resulting in problems.
LTC services has now disconnected their phones and are not responding to requests for support. They can no longer be contacted.

  • Shannon. I have reported LTC to fair trading and am awaiting their reply. I'm also interested in trying to track down Tony Matern, Sean O Dalaigh, James Randall and Shane Baxter or anyone in the organisation. If they are in fact their real names. Have you any information on them

  • John, I don't have any information on them and also wonder if that is their real names. My thoughts would be it isn't. I have issued them with a letter today which I have emailed. I will also post and fax. The letter is giving them 14 days to refund my money in full or I will commence legal action. I am also going to report to fair trading. It will be good if there are a few cases against them. Who were you dealing with as your "person to help you". We were dealing with Alex.

  • No contact recently and it would be 2 or so months despite numerous emails. Do you know of anyone else in similar situation as us? I logged a claim with ACCC yesterday by email for them to get back to me and also advised them by phone for them to update their scamwatch website if they find anything untoward (which they will). I would also love to go to A Current Affair.

  • Hi Guys, I too bought a Pod pro from LTC services. I hadnt used it for a while and when i checked recently. It wasnt working, i have tried contacting them and their emails keep bouncing back. Would like to help get our money back.

  • According to asic sean o dalaigh is the ceo and lives in adelaide. I have checked the address on google maps and it does exist. So if anyone lives in adelaide or knows someone who lives there, it would be good to verify that he lives there and isn't jusst a random address supplied to asic

  • Hi All, I also submitted to fair trading and got a response from them saying that they receive many complaints about computerized systems of this nature and for the majority of cases, the office has been unable to obtain redress or provide assistance. They then went on to say that the QLD Policy have launched a website to advise of these schemes. Basically then said I need to obtain independent legal advice. So in a nutshell, no good outcome at all. This is just ridiculous. I can't believe these people continue to get away with it when just looking at our group, we have the same complaint. It is criminal. Does anyone have any other ideas? Omero, did you go and look at the address at all?

  • All you people that were scammed by LTC services here is your proof that the people runningit were crooks.
    ASIC Reports the following as a director of AIC International exactly as the website aicinternational-complaints.com - see below

    I noted this name in the previous comments.
    Called himself Sean Johnson at AIC International along with Alex Clark and Tony Butcher.
    This is so pathetic of the ACCC all they had to do was look up the ASIC records.(Inappropriate Content Removed) as well for allowing these con men to continue.

  • also believe tony butcher is actually Anthony Hartnett a director of Synergy Financials and S-Connect or Sansar Systems.
    They are all mates and run the scams together.
    Don't bother with the ACCC or Consumer Affairs they are either grossly incompetent or compromised.
    I rang consumer affairs Victoria and their investigation was to ring the AIC phone number and talk to Sean Johnson who assured them everything was above board. Now how incompetent is that.
    This is not over by a long shot.

  • Hi Guys,

    An interesting development, I received a phone call from Ryan Hubbard from Stone Key in the US. They are representing a company that got scammed by these guys and are commencing a class action against them and claim that we will all get our money back!!!

    But this is all crap, i contacted (the real) Stonekey in the US and their legal counsil advised that these people are trying to perpetrate yet another scam. Im not sure how just yet but they sent me encrypted files to upload onto my computer under the guise of confidentiality agreements. If they send these files to you via email do not open them!!!! I can only guess but in all likelihood they will search out your internet banking passwords.

  • So, have found out how the Stone Key scam works, they want a 50% payment of the amount that you got scammed to be in on the class action. If you would like to be scammed again then pay them the money.
