The complaint is a listing fraud posted on public forums or sites against an anonymous entity
The complaint is mobile text spam or smishing related against an anonymous entity
The company or person contact no longer exists
International boundaries
Companies involved: R&R Venture Group, Excess Property Solutions(EPS), and Vacation Services Intgernational (VSI). Cold calls have a RCI caller ID and claim they are inviting you to a presentation on recent RCI enhancements for their members. This is a Timeshare scam that has been going on for years and the names of the companies change as they get known.
Names usually associated with this scam are Guy Russell and BJ Cooke, well known scammers in the Timeshare world. They are at it again.

- Actually reviewed this post several months ago. Thought after reading me and my hubby were scammed but FINALLY today got check for our package. Maybe we were the lucky ones but also used VSI the other day to go over to Diamond Resort in California so, thanks for warning but looks like it worked but am sorry if your deal didn't work out. Really was a little skeptical and it took a little longer than I was told about to receive program info. Worked with a nice guy BJ.
I was cold called too but told about an RCI update. Seems there are some postings from some people who are pissed off at the owners or someone.
Still keeping a watch on things. -

- Gracie, saw your post. Have been told disgruntled employees are reaching out and telling people that we are basically screwed. Have been ignoring. Thought I was the only one with something a little more upbeat to say. Timeshare is a weird business....glad I just like to travel than be in it.

- I called their office and did speak with a lady who explained that they had some employees who left to go do their own thing and that the stuff online is being filtered because of sensitivity and libel and slander. I have been posting on other sites and it is so easy to see who might have a real problem and those that are just hitting below the belt. Glad we ended up OK so far.
