I saw an add for Raspberry Ketone Fresh with £4.99 postage to be paid only. When I checked my bank I noticed something was wrong. I also had an email confirmation stating I had to claim the rebate 30 days after the date of order. WHen I spoke to my bank they informed me that £153 had been taken from my account. I have tried 2 telephone numbers to get hold of these scumbags after emailing them twice and both numbers say to email them as they no longer take calls or they are closed. The bank won't refund yet. I did NOT authorise this payment. No way would I pay £153 for something that might not work!!!!

  • This is what happened to me too. Only I received no confirmation email, no order number. And when I tried to contact customer services, I got an automated message with a gmail address. Emailed and got no response, surprise surprise.

After 5 phone calls to my bank they said I'd have to wait and see if the products arrive in the post, doesn't help with how I get my £153 back though.

  • Products arrived today with no rebate information.

Tried to phone the number in terms and conditions for returning the product and would you believe it? The number wasn't recognised!! Go figure.

Phoned the bank again and now I've to wait for their investigation team to call me.

How are you getting on Rebecca?

  • Well, the company responded to my email, after a week or so, giving me the link for the rebate. will have to wait and see. they also said there's no need to send the products back and there was no subscription anyways. my bank has been informed and my account watched.

I'm still persuing it with my bank and have sent them an email saying I want my money back as they've now been reported for fraud and that I would get the police involved if I had no reply and full refund by Tuesday!! • Yeah they responded to me yesterday (conveniently after I received the goods) and said they'd send a rebate form in 30 days, so I instantly replied back asking for it now. And also I read there terms and conditions and it sounds like you need to return the items to receive your money back?? But the phone number for an RMA number doesn't even exist.

  • I feel SO (Inappropriate Content Removed) for ordering these products. My bank have said I have to wait for it to show up on my account before I can dispute the payment but they are watching my account and hopefully nothing else will be taken! I will be interested to see if anyone gets their money back and how they done as I am desperate to sort this and have one very unhappy fiancé!!

  • Well my banks investigation team still haven't been in touch.

But I did email the company again and got a response.. They've said that they'll email me a rebate form 30 days after my purchase date, then once they've received it back I'll get my money 1-2 weeks later.

I kind think it's a huge scam and that before I get myoney back the company is gonna fold and go bankrupt or something.

  • I have also fallen for this scam...and it was only by chance that I came across this site and I realised it was all a scam. So I thought I thought I'd better check my bank account, and low and behold £153.95 had been taken out of my bank account.
So I contacted my bank, who were very helpful. There was a phone number next to the bank transaction, so I gave it a call. I got an automated answer machine in the USA, and then it went all crackly, I said hello a few times and eventually an American guy answered. I explained that money had been taken unauthorised from my account and that I'd like a refund. He explained I had 2 options, either keep the purchase and they'd give me half my money back, or send it back to the address on the envelope and receive a full refund. He also gave me a very long number to put on the envelope under the address but I'm not sure what that's for.

So I'm going to send the product back and hope that they refund me the money. But my bank is aware and are sending me a form to fill in so that action can be taken if I don't receive my refund.
I just hope that I receive my refund and that the company doesn't go bust or something.

The phone number that I rang is 0800 9098096 if that helps anyone.

  • I ordered this promotion yesterday and to my horror discovered that around £150 had been taken out of my account! After composing myself I found this thread and rang the number (US) posted by Tiffany and the guy who answered looked in to and tried to offer me 25% off then 50%, I refused both and he informed me that it was to late to cancel because my shipment had been dispatched. He's given me a returns number and a return address in the UK and told me that once Ive recieved the products and posted them back, I can them contact them with the tracking number and they'll issue me my refund.

  • Hi I'm not sure if this will help anyone but I've had the same thing happen. Recieved products this morning. I rang a number an they have me an address to send the products back to and I will recieve a refund in full, but did mention I had to send this recorded delivery as proof as postage.
The contact numbers I have are - 08004048960 and 08009098096
And the address they gave was
    Po box 13587
    Linlithgow
    West Lothian
    Eh49 9at

But did tell me to make sure I wrote
    RNA£19185584253765798
    Underneath the address.
Il let everyone knows what happens as the woman on the phone said they would recieve products within 3 days and it would take 3 working days for a full refund into my bank account. Will be sending products today.

  • Hello

I too have stupidly fallen for this and have had £159.04 taken from my credit card.

My bank have been quite helpful and have told me they are sending me a declaration form to fill out with all my information and they will refund the money and take on the dispute with the company. However this is if I do not receive any goods.
I have emailed the two address, that were posted on this thread, twice now to ask them to cancel my order and to give me a refund but still no answer.

RACHEL how long did it take for you to receive the goods? and have you been re funded yet?

do you suggest I wait to receive the products then follow the same roue as you?

    the products arrived today.

The number I have been given is 0800 404 6960

The address I have on the despatch note is

    P.O Box 13511
    Linlithgow, west lothian
    EH49 7YH

the only number I can seem to get through to is the second number that Rachel posted.
An american lady answered and told me I needed to fax them through a copy of my charges and was making no sense at all.
    So I hung up.

I have still not had any reply from the two emails that I sent.

  • I wonder what's actually in those pills. I asked my chemist friend to run some tests for me and get the chemical consistence of the powder we were sent. Unfortunately, the equipment you have to use is not available for personal use in my uni, so if anyone knows some people who have access to such machinery, they could ask them to do some simple tests. If it's not the stuff they say on the jar, the company is in serious trouble.

Im still waiting for the declarations forms to come through from my bank. I am going to fill them out and provide all my evidence of trying to get in touch with the company.

Seems I have also fallen for the same scam.
£153.95 has been taken out of my account. Ordered the 90 day free trail expecting to pay £4.95 p+p and that is all.
I was just wondering whether anyone receive email confirmation from them? I only received an email from a company called insureship. Has anyone else had this? Feel like I have no proof of purchase!

  • Hi Isabel

I returned the pills with tracked delivery yesterday morning and also got a certificate of postage.
I printed out a letter to put inside the parcel which basically repeated everything I had written in my emails to them.
Im still waiting on the form from my bank to fill out. I have printed out all the emails I have written to them and also a screen shot of there online advert that says 'FREE TRIAL'.
I will keep and eye on the package and once I know they have received it I will wait for 3 days to see if I hear anything. If not (which I expect I won't) I will be sending all the information back to my bank and they have told me that they will then take up the dispute for me.

As long as you have proof to show your bank that you tried to return the goods you should be ok.
If you haven't already I would get in touch with your banks dispute team and ask them to send you the correct form to fill out to state that you did not authorise the amount to be taken from your account.
Have you emailed the company? I did four times with no reply but I have printed these off to show my bank that I have tried to sort the problem out myself.

    Hope this helps

I have since called the bank, cancelled my card to stop any further transactions, contacted the company via 0800 404 6960 (UK free phone number).
After a day and half, I finally got through to someone in Customer Services, who sent me the return details via email: [email protected]

I have returned the items via recorded delivery today and emailed the tracking number with a clear statement that if I am not refunded within the next 7 working days, I will report them to the banks Fraud team, advertising standards agency and trading standards.
I hope this works and I get my money back!!!

Hope the information above is helpful to anyone who needs it.

  • Hi maybe long winded but please read it may help you!!!!
Having failed to contact the company to cancel my account and request the RMA returns code you require to return the tablets, and having being told by my bank my account is being monitored for future transactions and there is nothing they can do about the £153.95 and £1.99 taken from my account I yesterday contacted citizens advice bureau who have told me that because the advert is misleading and also because you click through links to make the payments that the t&c's are not availabke to view this is in breach of your consumer rights. Call your bank explain the ad was mis leading and you purchased through clicking on several links and there were no t&c's available advuse given this citizens advice have adviced you are eligable for the charge back scheme, my bank have advised I print the t&c's on raspberryketonefresh.com site stating they will make a refund for unused and unopened purchases, return the goods to the returns address but you must get a proof of posting from post office. Bank have informed me if the comoany do not contact me/refund me within 14days of posting they will apply the chargeback scheme and in a further 21 days I will get my full refund providing I supply the evidence of the t&c's and the proof of posting....persistance is key it's taken a lot of phone calls and emails but I can finally see light at the end of the tunnel. Also the company have emailed me back a week later from [email protected] ignoring my dequest for RMA no congratulating me on my purchase and claiming they will rebate in 30days when I complete and return their form I'm not chancing it. Speak to citizens advicd anx your bank and return if advused as I have they cant refund something you still have, I'll ket you know how I progress...

  • Hi Roxy

Thank you for this! This is very helpful.
I had a phone call form my bank yesterday and the woman told me that they couldn't help me as I stated the product was correct therefore they see that as me being happy with my purchase!! well... I went MAD!! I don't know where in the 19 pages of emails, phone call records and proof of postage that they saw me being happy!
Any way long story short I got given the direct number for the disputes team and I got put through to a gentleman who was great! He went through all my evidence piece by piece. The outcome was that he told me they would know take up this dispute for me and that they would credited back the money onto my credit card. However the company now have 45 days to dispute this back. If they come up with an argument towards me I will then have to provide more proof BUT if they do not do anything I will get to keep the money and they case will be closed! fingers crossed!
I think I might call my bank back and add this information that you have provided on to my dispute
    Thanks

  • Hello everyone,
I fell for this scam also but I have just seen I have had the full £153.95 returned to my account today so I've written below what I did to help anyone still trying to deal with this problem. I hope it helps.

    - Purchased the Raspberry Ketone fresh, expecting to pay £4.95 as stated on the website.
    - Saw £153.95 had been taken from my account, but no confirmation of order email from the company.
    - The product did actually arrive, so I had something. I did not send the product back as I was unsure as to whether that would be the only proof I had.
    - Tried every possible way to contact the company via email addresses, telephone numbers on the internet and on various websites I thought might be linked with the company, I spent quite a lot of time talking to an American company who had no idea who I was despite confirming it was their product and website I had ordered from.
    - Saw they had taken another £1.99 out of my account, so began to worry as they may be able to take more.
    - Contacted my bank immediately and set up Visa Disputes for both the amounts. The £1.99 was refunded pretty much immediately (I guess because it's not worth investigating such a small amount).
    - I was asked for proof of what had happened and my attempts to contact the company. I sent copies of emails and sent the phone numbers I had tried to ring, as well as addresses I had found. I also sent a print screen image of the final page that has the "rebate" amount on it.
    - The bank then contacted the company's bank to see what was happening.
    - I have then seen today I have been completely refunded.

I hope this is helpful. Any questions let me know!
    Gabrielle

I had to email the bank all the details.. Didn't have to send the product back either as it was advertised as a free trial, although I haven't taken any, nor am I going to.. I just think if they're scam artists then there could be anything in those pills.

So anyone who falls for this scam I recommend contacting your bank ASAP, it seems their the only ones who scare them into giving the money back.

I have contacted my bank and stopped my card and am waiting for the transaction to move from pending so i can have the retail disputes team investigate. Thanks to D above I called the number she posted and finally got through to a man who finally whislst i was on the line, mailed me an RMA number so I can return these "pills" as soon as i recieve them, no way am i going to take them. feel so stupied that feeling the usual january slump i was depressed enough to think there was a magic cure for extra pounds although i certainly lost pounds with these - £150 to be exact. well lesson learned. hoping i also recieve a refund and good luck to all who have been unfortunate enough to encounter raspberry ketones fresh!
