This company called me this morning with the same story as the others - that I took out a payday loan (no), was being sued for $1500, and I could either settle it right now or be subpoenaed. Even after I told him that I'm an attorney, he continued to threaten me with a "financial restraining order" and being subpoenaed. I think they are trying to force people to settle on a debt they don't owe to avoid the threatened consequences. Total scam. They need to be shut down!
