I have received letters from Pushpin Holdings LLC since September 12, 2011 concerning a lease for a credit card machine that was returned and the lease settled in 2005. I talked to a representative in September 2011 who informed me that the account balance from the original lease company had been charged off. I told the person from Pushpin that I did not owe them anything but they still send letters. It is ridiculous that a company tries to go around the law to obtain money. they are now threatening to sue me in a Chicago, Ill court due to the statute of limitations being different in Illinois. My lease was don in Ohio so Ohio law should prevail.
