Saw the online ad for garcinia cambogia in which the offer is for a 'free' bottle to try, just pay shipping and handling. Ordered the bottle on Feb 18, 2014. Yesterday, I noticed a charge of 79.95 on my bank statement from this same company. I absolutely DID NOT authorize any charges other than the S&H of the first bottle.
Called my bank and got their phone number which is 1-800-794-5919. Spoke with someone uses the name 'Michael'. Explained the situation. He says that there is a clause somewhere in the ad that says that you are signing up for a 'membership' and a recurring charge but that he would give me a 35% 'courtesy' refund.
I then went to my bank and filled out the requisite paperwork to have my full amount refunded. Also had to cancel my old card and get a new one as this company has already proven that they will rip consumers off so didn't want to take any chances.
