There's far more to this than the piddling amount of a wig. It has to do with consumer confidence in making further Internet purchases. I feel this particular website is unscrupulous. After my experience, I discovered numerous others had the same exact experience as I. I wonder if they actually laugh each time they send the same ill-fitting blonde wig to everyone regardless of what is ordered.
They laud the purchaser for being so nice and follow it up with "of course the wig won't look EXACTLY like the photo. We are sorry you aren't satisfied. We'll exchange it but first you have to pay to ship it back to us. Please don't give us any negative feedback on PayPal," blah, blah, blah.
If an American company posted a photo Kristin Cavallari and claimed her hair is a wig they have for sale, couldn't they be charged with fraud?
Ha, ha. This is the advertised "wig" I thought I was buying:
