I received a call from a gentleman with an Asian accent so thick I could barely understand him. He stated the Dept of Treasury was filing a charge against me. I asked him in regard to what. He stated he could not say. He was only responsible for notifying me. I asked to speak to his supervisor which I called and the person who answered the phone, also with an Asian accent, did not respond to my questions. I am sure this is a scam as I do not believe the Federal government would inform a citizen of pending litigation, on the phone by someone who spoke horrible english and have no idea what it was about. I sure as heck was not going to give them anything based on a phone call...not money or information. Phone number of caller is 213-261-0712.
