First contacted by a man on 18/10 who said my computer had a virus on it, he said he was from Microsoft. I first put the phone down but they immediately called back. He said if I didn't log onto my computer I would lose all of its data etc. I logged on and he took me through numorous screens, he spent an hour and half talking to be. At the end he asked for £209 for the protection to continue for 20years, I did challenge this but he said if I didn't do it my computer would go offline. I made this payment via credit card. I have since blocked the card etc. I have been receiving calls daily around 7 a day, the man has been quite aggressive wanting me to log onto the computer to complete a refund form(even though I have not contacted them for a refund) when questioned he has put the phone down. The calls continue. I have reported them to action fraud.
