I called in and cancelled / closed out my account 2 days prior to an electronic deposit reaching the account. I was told that the monies would be rejected and returned to the sender. This did not happen. Instead they kept the deposit, deducted fees and are holding my money on a closed account. I can not reach a supervisor or get any help from anyone who can make a difference. I have contacted my lawyer and am preparing to sue. I just want my deposit to be returned to the sender as soon as possible, so I can have my funds sent to a bank that I trust.
After speaking with numerous customer service reps and getting nowhere I have taken to social media to make my grievances known and nothing has come of it. I need these funds to pay rent and bills that are due now and am in desperate need of assistance.
