On the 10th October 2014 I found an advert regarding the room rent. Double room for single use in 3 bedroom flat, Walthamstow area, was advertised. It was exactly what I was looking for, as I am studying in that area. I called the number which was provided. The person who picked up the phone introduced himself as Mindaugas, the person who is currently living in that flat. We arranged a viewing on Sunday, 12th October 2014. Mindaugas met me at the station and we walked together to the flat. When entered the flat, two other "flatmates" were there: Greta and Regimantas. They were very friendly and created wonderful atmosphere in the flat. Great and Regimantas were a couple and Mindaugas was living alone in a separate bedroom. I like them straight away and decided that I will move in that bedroom. The price per month was 550. It was required one month deposit and one month in advance. The total amount was 1100. Since it was Sunday and banks were not working, I made a bank payment. On Monday, 13th October, 2014 I was supposed to move in. From that day none of them picked up their phones. When I came with my bags and luggage to the apartment, in which I was supposed to move in, no one opened the doors. It felt like they disappeared. From that day I could not contact them, I lost my money. Please, be extremely aware of these names and surnames, as it might happen to you! I hope you will never be in this situation. These people are professional scammers!!!
