Today I had an African American gentleman come to my door asking to see my BGE bill due to my home area being "red-zoned" and overcharged for our utility bill for the past 2 months and that I was eligible for 18 months of assisted service on my monthly payments. I told him "No" and that I was not going to show him my bill. He proceeded to tell me that he was sent by the city and state and that my bill needed to be adjusted by them so that it would then be accurate. I told him once again "No". He told me that by being non-compliant, I would receive a phone call from BGE and would face consequences. He then left. I called BGE where the ensured me that my information had not been released to this third party utility company and that they had not overcharged me. After discussing this further, they told me to call our local Public Service Commission to file a complaint. They also asked to get a name and badge number of the employee who came to my door. I went outside to speak with one of the reps and the two females who were a few door down were beyond rude. I asked for a business card, a phone number, as well as a badge or name, and they both denied me. One of the females told me she was a manager and that she could not release a name. The other female proceeded to insult me by asking me if I was pregnant and that I should just go back home and leave it alone. After feeling completely humiliated by THIS WOMAN, I told her to never assume a woman was pregnant and then she began telling me to CALM DOWN. I swear, I have NEVER IN ALL MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!! dealt with such disrespectful employees before. I would like someone to take action against them. This is absolutely ridiculous. Shame on you Entrust Energy for having employees who have no customer service skills what so ever.
