I signed up for Mackeeper in April. I was billed $348.00 for a 12 month subscription. What I wasn't told was that the cost was in US Dollars and included an additional 20% in taxes. There was an additional charge of $59.00 (?) I didn't know about, which was also converted to US Dollars. The end result is that I ended top paying 539.54 in Australian Dollars for this 12 month subscription. All I have is a receipt for A$348.00.
This , as far as I am concerned is fraud as the operator did not advise me that there were 2 charges and that they would be in US Dollars plus the 20% taxes added on.
I would not recommend this company to anyone and I would advise everyone to beware of this blatant rip-off and this company.
