Jeff was hired to replace drywall that had already been removed due to busted water pipe. Him & his half brother Gary started working on this problem on 8/17/2015 after being paid $500 deposit from my disabled husband from a add on Craig's List! This was a two day job at the most & they extended it to 15 days because of lots of issues with their poor work & multiple problems with their truck etc, & because of their two Rock Conserts they went to during this job. Also they put a large hole in the adjoining bedroom wall accidentally & tried to repair it after I mentioned the hole to them. It is repaired now except he painted it a Shiny white on a flat white wall. This is unacceptable & he promised it would be taken care of. They demanded more money be paid to them after they worked a day so my husband gave them another $500. I started taking them lunch downstairs to try to keep them working because if they left for lunch or more supplies they would text us that they would be back the next day. Anyway this went on for 15 days & they were paid the remainder of the $1800 & the cost for the supplies. On there last day here they came upstairs & told my husband that they were done & would be back the next day for the final sanding, paint touch up & cleanup. He is disabled on oxygen & believed them when they said they would be back so he finished paying them. The next day they never should up & we called them everyday for two full weeks & were told how sorry they were & that they would be here the next day & then never showed up! My downstairs is a mess the drywall still needs to be sanded again & the paint touched up. Also they put huge Gouge marks in the drywall frame around the glass sliding door & knocked the corner of a wall off next to the bathroom. Of course the bedroom wall still has to be sanded & repainted also. The drywall dust is everywhere & I myself had to carry off the two by fours that were left on the patio & hid alongside the house with nails exposed everywhere. Not to mention all the cigarette butts & empty cups & buckets of drywall mudd. This has been a very traumatic experience for myself & for my husband. After this man did not come back & finish the job that they were paid in full for plus he asked for a tip because they had to come back so many times. My husband gave them a hundred dollar tip, because he believed there line of crap that they would return & make it look perfect! They knew he was unable to go down the stairs to see how they left the room unfinished & that they would NEVER COME BACK!!! Something needs to be done about this unscrupulously man. After going on line I found he has 4 unresolved complaints with the Better Business Bureau, & several other Scam agency complaints.
