As with the previous complaints, I signed up to a free trial following a link after a survey for Kwik Fit UK.

I ordered two of the free trial products and paid the £4 postage fee.

From the details of that payment they have subsequently taken money out and issued an email confirmation for two separate orders for the two trial products I did not make. I then looked into it and discovered that it is a monthly subscription service that they do not make you aware that you are signing up for.

I have contacted my bank and they have issued a cancellation order to ensure they cannot take any further money from my account and will keep my account monitored to ensure they can't try and reactivate it.

My bank has also requested that I put the entire saga into an email with screenshots of the websites and they will then launch an investigation and try to get my money refunded as this was under false pretenses and did not explain the trial would become a subscription.

I am wholly disgusted that this came off the back of a genuine website so I stupidly trusted it, they have also managed to ruin my Christmas and leave me broke which has made this a rather unpleasant time now.

I subsequently also found the email on their second website (of the two only one has contact details)and I have explained I did not know I was signing up to a subscription service and that I cannot afford it so could they please cancel immediately and confirm this cancellation. I await a response...
