PREM_SMS 94408 Dream Audio Misty Alerts

I recieved a text from this fraudulent company on 3/28/12 and I discovered on 4/10/12, I don't know how they can even do this, that they started billing me under premium messaging $9.99 a month! The funny thing is I can't even tell what this company does, other than scam people and I have no idea how I would have "approved" any such charges, other than maybe I opened the text by accident, I am very careful not to sign up for anything online that's unfamiliar, but now I think I am going to have to be even more careful. I am truly outraged that this can even happen, I am new to using a smart phone and my opinion is that the cell companies need to figure out what to do about this, they should never put a charge on someone's bill unless they have guaranteed that the charge is valid with their customer. I should imagine the cell companies would be angry, these scammers are basically using their billing system to scam their customers. I am a Verizon customer and I was generally happy with how they handled the situation, they blocked premium messaging and stopped all further charges from this company, and they reversed the charge that was made as they should, I have been a customer with this company for a long time (almost 15 years, a long time in the cell world). I think they should have been a little more angry however, I almost view this as credit card fraud, they had to reverse the charges, so they have to potentially pay for this whatever this garbage company Misty Alerts is doing. I wish the media would do some story on this type of thing...maybe I will send in a tip as I think this is akin to stealing from people.
