A person that went by the name of Edward persuaded me to go to western union and send $500.00 with an additional charge of $40.00 and in return I would receive a loan in the amount of $5000.00 that I would be able to pay back in three years. I never received a conformation of the transfer nor did I receive the loan amount that was agreed upon. I called and asked the same person (or so I thought), and he said that there was an unexpected red flag raised on my credit report and they would need a larger payment to secure the loan. I said that that wouldn't be possible. He then told me that they were going to refund the $540.00 in total, and it would be there by December 1st, 2011. It never came, and I couldn't contact them anymore. I left message after message. I sent the money to Nadine Clarke in Canada. I feel stupid for doing so and it put me in a bad financial position for a period of time.
