Ordered dress 4.3.12 for sons wedding. Beautiful picture of dress and called: Georgeous Empire Sweetheart Floor Length Chiffon. Received it a month later. Imagine my disappointment when on trying it on, the empire line dress in fact, sat on my waist and the dress was very bulky and big. In fact I could not keep one side of the dress on my shoulder and the whole top was in danger of falling down if I moved. The dress was 2 foot too long and I could not walk in it without tripping over. In fact the proportion of the dress was completely wrong and would probably fit someone of 6ft - unfortunately I am 5ft 2"!
I immediately contacted TidebuyThey asked for 'persuasive photos'. I sent these back to them and heard nothing. I then got Paypal involved and lo and behold within a day I had heard back from Tidebuy. I was then asked to provide further photos and measurements which I did. No reply! I contacted Paypal to escalate my claim for a refund and within a day I had a reply from Tidebuy, this time saying they could find no fault with the dress!!! As it was such a beautiful dress they suggested I keep it and have someone make the alterations! I have gone back to them to say how disappointed I am with their service and the dress is ill fitting and was unwearable and asking again for a refund. At the time of ordering the dress I ordered a jacket as well, which I asked them to put a hold on until I sorted the dress out, as without the dress the jacket is useless.
I am fuming at the fact that they seem not to be able to see the blatant faults of this dress, and have not even mentioned the fact that the dress is out of proportion for someone of 5ft 2". I can ill afford to lose this money as I am on a pension and I refuse to let them keep my money when I have nothing to show for it. I would never never use this company again!!!!!
