Received envelope on outside "Legal Notice" Prompt Respponse Required. Inside the envelope copy of check sum $$2,342,000.00 with memo notes: For: Pending cash disbursal awaiting claim and payment. Letter attached requesting response by 04/19/12 with one time payment $20.00. The request for payment is what raised the flag. If someone had that much money for me, why am I paying a fee to receive it? Requiring a signature and verification of information is one thing, but payment to receive money you know nothing of??? Not likely. Pay me what I've won and deduct whatever fee from that amount. Thanks for the opportunity to share this. (Please note: I have not sent FAA any $.)
