SMS smished, Walmart $1000 gift card
I received a text message on my cell today (4/15/12) stating the following:
"You've been Chosen (sic) to Win a $1000 Walmart Gift Card! But only the 1st 1,000 users that enter code 7777 at http://walmartgift.co will Receive it!"
Googled it online after receiving this text message online and learned of this scam via this website. Hence, I am reporting it as suggested to help others.
I also blocked the phone number that this text message originated from on my cell phone: (510) 610-4165.
