The commercial on TV said order 1 pasta boat for $10.00, get one free just pay separate shipping and handling. I called the number shown on the commercial and got an automated ordering system. I was in the middle of my order when the system cut me off before my order could be completed so I had no idea if it had even gone through. I had requested it be shipped sooner because I was moving from state to state but never got a choice of whether or not to pay for early shipping. I never got a final total amount either nor an order confirmation number.

When I got my pasta boat, I discovered that they had sent me a double order and charged me over $30.00 just to receive it within 2 weeks instead of 4 weeks!! This is extremely high. My total charge was $50.96 for one order for a $10.00 pasta boat. I couldn't believe my eyes!

I called their customer service department (973-227-8777) and complained about it. I told them they doubled my order and overcharged for shipping. They refused to adjust the shipping charge and told me to send back the extra pasta boats, which I did. As of Aug. 8, 2011, I haven't received a refund or any correspondence from them.

I called again today, Aug. 9, 2011 and they told me they never received the pasta boats I returned and would only refund me $20.00. They refused to refund the extra shipping charges. I am so disgusted with this manufacturer/Telebrands.com that I will never order a product from them again. I plan on telling all my friends to beware of this company's practices. I believe I've been totally scammed and there's nothing I can do about it except to file this complaint.

Update: 03/07/2012

I resolved this matter. The company did refund part of the shipping charges. This matter is now closed. Thanks.
