I bought a canvas painting on OverStock.com on 11th April 2012. They charged my card the correct amount and that was fine. But today (18th April) I got contacted by my credit card company's fraud department saying there was a charge just now for $400+ in America for a Travel Lodge room booking, which wasn't me. I've never had any trouble with credit card fraud until now, and after doing some research it seems OverStock.com is a giant scam. I never would have thought it as the site seems very professional and legit.. Lesson learned, do a quick bit of research on the site you're purchasing from before giving out your credit card details, not matter how "legit" the site looks!
