I had originally applied for and was approved a loan through Western Sky I was referred to them by a very trusting friend who had used them. I took the loan and within thirty days my loan was sold to Cash Call which is the loan company from HELL. I kept it on an ACH payment and figured when I could I would pay the loan completely off mainly because of the harsh harassing calls. And I will tell you the calls became abusive and no one ever listened to what I had to say. Through no fault of my own my account was closed since personal information including banking was released to the public through a hacking into state controller office. I changed accounts and shortly after called Cash Call (they call from all area codes) and asked for a 10 day pay out they provided it to me and to my knowledge the loan was paid in full. I was wrong and the harassing calls began and when I explained to them that it was my understanding the loan was paid in full and the jacked part was no one called to let me know the account was no even paid it wasn't till the harassing calls began again that I learned which was almost 60 days later. They still call me and even told me that in order to clear the balance I should sell some of my 5 year old's items. I told them no, and the account is as they told me "officially in collection" and several of the guys told me that they would keep harassing me till the account was paid off. I work for the AG and would hate to file a BBB complaint but as a single parent on a single income I may have no other choice.
