I was trying to find an apartment in San Francisco in hotpads.com, and sent an 'availability check' to one of the one bedroom apartment(Whose address is 425 1ST STREET, SAN FRANCISCO, CA 94105). The guy Abram contacted me via email, and he asked me to sign a contract of lease and send deposit and one-month rent for reservation. The receiver's account information is shown as below: Account Name: Dean R. Johnson Account Number: 916-280-1998 Routing Number: 042-000-314 Swift Code: FTBCUS3C Bank Name: Fifth Third Bank Bank Address: 116 South Broadway, Cassopolis, Michigan. After I transfered the money, I started to sense something is not right (e.g. The rent is much cheaper than other apartment in that area, and instead of giving me a call, he just contacted me via email), I tried to call the Abram's phone number (509-351-2434) which shows in Hotpads.com, but it's a voice/fax number. I haven't been getting any response from him after I sent the money.

This report is not true, this was a understanding between me and Abram, please help me to dismiss this.

- Actually I'm not sure again for this. They said they already refund me but four days passed, I haven't got any money back. So please hold this post until I find out.

It appears that this person has been using the same scam accross San Fransisco / Bay Area, he's using various names such as Kevin Gueco or Kelvin Gueco [email protected]
