I receive two texts in rapid succession on my Verizon iphone, saying: "3xmssgs/wk at $9.99/mo Enter your PIN on the website:4422 Msg & Data Rates May Apply info: tinyurl.com/82m8uce Reply HELP for help."
The second email was a bit of trivia and at the bottom it said "Reply STOP to cancel," which I did immediately. Within five minutes, I got two more texts from IQ Power:Trivia Alerts -- exactly like the first. I replied STOP again. I then got two identical messages in rapid succession which said: "IQ Power: You have stopped IQ Power Alers, no further msgs or charges...." I don't know if I will be charges for these texts or not. I plan to call Verizon to report this.

- I got the same exact text messages last week. I never give my phone number out either, which makes me wonder. I was charged 9.99 for a premium text message on my Verizon account. I called and they gladly took it off.
