Same as all these other victims, I ordered a pair of shoes and paid via PayPal.
A few weeks later, I got a small package with a scrubber sponge. Declared value for customs: 70 cents.
I opened a claim with PayPal; the seller showed PayPal that he had sent "a package" and that was good enough for PayPal to side with the crook. They never asked me about it, but closed the case and stated their decision was final and would not be reopened.
I'm sure PayPal gets their percentage of this scammer's take, so why should they stop him?
