In March of 2009, my business partner and I were contacted by a company who referred to themselves as Diversified Wealth. This company solicited to provide coaching services to assist us with a small real estate investment business I wanted to develop.

We spoke with a gentleman name Mike Minter, phone number (866)826-9437, ext. 1027 as well as his associate, Clint Backus, ext. 1014. Mr. Minter told us that Diversified Wealth would provide bi-weekly coaching sessions for 6 months, followed by as-needed, unlimited coaching access for the following 6 months. The total cost for this service came to $10,500.

We were only able to conduct 4 coaching sessions with our coach, on dates 04/07/09, 04/13/09, 04/21/09, and 04/28/09.

I attempted to contact our coach to finish our sessions and she never returned any voice messages or e-mails. When we attempted to contact Mr. Minter, Mr. Backus, or anyone else with whom we spoke at Diversified Wealth, voicemails would not be returned or calls could not be completed with the provided phone number. There was no phone number on the credit card statements listed after the name of the company. After unsuccessfully contacting the business, we contacted each credit card company, who gave us several different phone numbers to call: (612)435-0033, (702) 252-7252, and (201) 349-2254. These phone numbers directed us to either individuals or businesses whose nature was unrelated to ours.

We have reason to believe that this was a fraudulent business transaction with company intent on scamming individuals, a company that took our money and did not deliver agreed upon services.
