At the end of an online transaction with Argos.co.uk, I was offered to join 'Complete Save'. There did not seem to be any way of exiting the site without clicking yes, but it said that it would not be activated until I had confirmed the details that woudl be emailed to me. The email came and I junked it. At no point was I told that if I did join it would cost me money - but I stress I deleted the confirmation email so have signed up to nothing. Since then two payments of £10 have been taken from my bank account, 05/04/12 and 03/05/12. They do not show up with my bank as direct debits so it is not possible to cancel them through my bank. I used the email address from teh confirmation email to write to them to query this payment and ask for a refund but have heard nothing back and now that email address is not working. How do I stop these anonymous and apparently sourceless demands for payment to my bank?
