My husband was traveling and his cell phone wasn't working. His plane was delayed causing him to miss his connecting flight. He used a pay phone, charged to his credit card, to call me at home. I had already left for the airport. He made a total of 4 pay phone calls, none lasting more than a few minutes, to apprise me of his travel changes. These calls ended up costing us $116.45. There was no warning when he made these calls that the rates would be ridiculously exorbitant.
