I checked on my account this morning, and saw a charge for $14.95 from fundedpayday.com, for a web payment. I never applied for a pay day loan, which are banned in Arizona, in the first place. I don't know how they got my direct bank information, as I don't even have checks! I had the bank put a stop payment on the charge and on all future charges from the company. I also have to file a police report. Obviously, someone in the bank either sells account information to scam artists, or their account database was hacked into. I don't even make web purchases, so this charge had to have come from someone in possession of the actual bank account records. That's even scarier.
