I have a cell phone 647 968-4302 for which I have a pay as you go plan. The balance was $100 in Jan 2012.

I don’t like using cell phones and I only use it in an emergency or when it is absolutely necessary.

I even tell people not to call or leave messages this number unless it is an emergency and no other way of contacting me.

Hence, I do not used the phone very much (1 call to Winnipeg and a couple of voice messages). I have not made any calls other than the Winnipeg call in Feb 2012.

However, I went to make an important call today only to be told I have a balance of $0.10 and could not make the call.

I contacted Rogers to complain and I asked how that could be. Rogers checked and they told me that I was being charged by a 3rd party company “Impact” @ $2 per message times 45 messages which equates to $90.00 for a contest that I was not aware of nor participated in.

I am on a Disability Pension and every penny counts, so anything you can do to help on this matter to get my money returned quickly would be appreciated, as I am currently without telephone service and have no money till I receive the refund to reinstate my cell phone coverage.
