I feel silly now- but I ordered slimming aids from Purasilk. They were despatched 16 April 2012. Internet reviews were bad so I decided to return them.
Rang their number April 21 2012 and got their return details including the essential RMA numbers to quote. Sent the goods (unopened) to their UK address on 23 April 2012.
In the UK our mail service has a tracking service- something told me to use it....
No further word from Purasilk but card was charged over £125 on 30 April 2012.
Rang same number on 19 May (date card statement arrived) and Purasilk argued that the return number was incorrect. As they generated these numbers, that was a rather poor excuse... Their arguments continued until I referred them to the exact date and time of their receipt of the unused goods and the name of the person signing for them.
We're protected by credit card guarantee, but even though they say a refund has been arranged "in a week" we don't believe them.
Buy from a shop/store. Don't deal with these people.
