I have only ordered items from the Internet twice before ordering this DVD set. And it is just this reason here why I do not like buying from the web.
I ordered the Dark Shadows DVD box set in February 2012. I received my conformation that 208.90 would be taken from my account, but it was 215.96 that was taken out. Soon got the DVD set.
As I began to play the first DVD it would not load.
I began going through the entire collection to see which DVDs would play. I used a DVD player, PS 2 and the computer. Some would play on one unit or another. Others would not.
I contacted customer support and explained what was happening with the DVDs. They offered a 70% discount or a refund. I choose the refund. What good is half a DVD collection anyway?
I mailed the set back and got an email 3-19-2012 that my refund was being processed. They said it would take 10 to 14 working days for the refund to show up in my account. I have not seen the refund, nor have I had any response from the contact person since 3-20-2012.
Seeing the complaints I have read on the company, some one needs to get the U.S. Attorney General on the case to get this situation resolved.
