I was looking online to find some extra ways to make money. I came across a job as a text chat operator. The company CHAT FX said that their job was like other companies where you log onto their system and send texts to people and get payed per text, but they paid a lot more. They then arranged to talk to me 121 on msn messenger to explain in full the job etc. It sounded good and legitimate and even had a phone number I rang which worked. After the chat on msn the girl asked me for £65 and that would cover administrive fees etc. I was wary and held back at first but she seemed so convincing. I know never to give money upfront but was so desperate to make some money stupidly believed her. I payed the amount through paypal. I did actually get a CD through the post which told me how to set up my own chat business but would cost me 100s of pounds, when I spoke to the girl over msn she said I would work for the company and all I would have to do is log onto their website and start work, so she lied. They are sending out theses cd's so that it doesn't look like a scam but it most defnately is. I tried to get my money back through paypal explaining the scam but they wouldn't believe me. AVOID these people never give money upfront. They advertise on the free classified ads sites.
