I received a call from 7ElevenESolutions.com Windows Support: Jacob 315-557-6511 He told me that my PC has a malicious virus and he recommended that I start the RUN command and enter EVENTVWR. I asked him for the IP address of my machine and started giving me some 888/.... number and I said no, I want the IP address. He couldn't provide. I asked for his contact information as shown above. He indicated he would call me back in 10 minutes. I searched the internet for scam activity and nothing was specific to this company. The website is http://www.7elevenesolutions.com/ which looks like a respectable site. I called the number and they do answer the number. The number he provided is the number on the site. When I called Mike answered and he confirmed the company name. We hung up. He called me back is 5 minutes and I asked him not to call this number again.

Jacob called back in 10 minutes and I indicated that this appears to be a scam. I asked him how he got my phone number. He responded do you not want your computer fixed.. I asked again how did he get my phone number.. I asked did my PC send it to him. He would not respond other than to say I don't care about the virus in my computer. I indicated that I will report this situation to consumer fraud. He said you can report anything you want and said SHUT-UP and DIE then hung up the phone.

Based on the above.. I would say this is a SCAM
