This was a free trial I signed up for (-$3 shipping) that I signed up for about 2 weeks ago. The website said NOWHERE that it was free for a few weeks and I would automatically be billed later!
So, I called to contest the charges and they said the trial period and billing was located to the side of the order page - checked, and it's not! Nowhere is $79.99 identified as a price, nor that you would automatically be charged after the trial period, and no identification of the length of the trial period itself!!
So, I was put through to customer service (these are the people who sell you the product) and after much haggling, was told that it AGAINST POLICY for me to talk to the billing department or a manager (which is legally a crock of sh***). So we sat in silence for a while before he finally told me he had "escalated my case" and a manager would call me in 48 hours. Well, by law I have 3 days to return/contest anything I buy whether it's a car or whatever, so they're definitely giving me the run around and really duping people into not pursuing their rights to contesting the charge or item. And the lack of information on their website is really false advertising. It's a big SCAM!!!
