Hi,

Just to let you know that I have just been scammed for a total of 926 dollars by a company with the following details:

I found the "company" on Alibaba.com selling USB keys.

Over a period of several weeks we exchanged e-mails about purchasing USB keys and then other products that they said they sold such as very cheap "genuine" cell phones and iPads.

Eventually they convinced me that they were a legitimate company and "as you can see from their website" it looked all to be OK.

I was asked to send the money via bank transfer and they would send me the goods straight away.

I sent them 926 dollars and they then proceded to give me a tracking number (RA147133890CN) with which I was tracking the package. All seemed to be going well.

They had sent it by China Post and the gave me a website with which to track it. (http://intmail.183.com.cn/item/trace/itemTraceAction.do?action=Enter)

It is all in Chinese, however, thanks to Google Chrome's translator, I was able to see where it was going. It appeared that once the package left China, the tracking number didn't work.

Eventually about three after sending the money, a small box arrived on my door.

It contained a lot of bubble wrap and one empty USB shell (a USB key with the electroncis ripped out).

So I have bought a 926 dollar piece of plastic.

Please make sure that these people do not scam anyone else!

It was too good to be true!
