Capital Lending Advisors; 9107 Wilshire Blvd. Suite 450, Beverly Hills, CA 90210; phone:1-866-7576064 and 310-201-2000. I went on line looking for refinancing of my home. I was contacted by phone and email with application and Home Loan Refinance Fee Agreement, with complete forensic loan documentation, which required a fee of $1,500 prior to any work being started, which would be returned in the event that they were unable to obtain a home loan. Everything looked and sounded good to me and I did all the paper work they required including a personal check for $1,500 (which I had to borrow) and moved forward. After two months had passed we were still in contact and was told the existing mortgage company was the hold up. I investigated the situation and found that Mr. Mathew Shepherd had applied for a loan modification with my existing mortgage company. When I tried to confronted Mr. Shepherd with this by phone and email he would not respond. I would get an automated answering machine but never a person. I have been scammed by some true con artists and it appears from the many complaints we have had a learning experience.
