I purchased a security system from an ICOn door-to-door salesperson. About 3 months ago the monitoring of my security was switched to ADT. Every since they switched I have been experiencing my phone dialing out while I am in the middle of a conversation. I have had AT&T here to exam the situation 4-5 times. The last tech who came told me to call the security company. The 1st ADT tech who came out stated that my battery was low & that was what the problem was. That didn't resolve the problem, and they sent out two more technicians at different intervals. I was told that if it occurred again to call the office and a tech would assist me. I did, and the tech had me punch a bunch of buttons & it seemed to clear up the problem. It started again last week, & I called & the tech told me that the problem was that my system did not work with my current phone set-up, because I have multiple phones in my home. I have the same phone set-up I have had since I originally purchased the system. The ADT tech stated that I needed a new "wireless" system in order for it to work properly, or I needed to disconnect all but one of my phones. He stated that I would have to pay for new equipment to be installed, and that my bill would go up.
I am requesting that ICON and ADT Security provide me with the proper system that is needed for my home in order for the system to work properly, at their expense, and that my bill remain the same.
