Very unsatified 6-22-2011
On 6-7-2011 me and my wife went to Appliance Smart to purchase a new washer and dryer. I told the sales men we want to
replace our Estate washer & dryer set as we where giving the 7 year old set to our son. As we purchased the set from
Appliance smart to begin with we wanted the same units or something just like it. The sales man showed us a Maytag set that
was on sale and stated it was better and bigger then our old units. So on his advice we bought the set. I asked if they would
deliver the set and I was told they would only deliver to our garage. I should have taken the hint then but you want to trust. So I
hauled them home myself and on Friday with help from my brother and my son we got everything moved and installed. We did
not know when we bought it that the lid would lock and it would take a minimum of 1 hour to do a load of laundry. My wife
struggled with this unit for a week thinking she was doing something wrong. After a week we called Appliance Smart to tell
them about the problem and we where told to call A&E Factory Service and if it was defective we could return it and get our
money back. We called and set up an appointment and we had to wait several days for them to come and they called the day
before and said they would be here on Tuesday 6-21-2001 between 1:00 pm & 5:00 pm. They called 4:09 pm Tuesday and said
they where not coming and we would have to reschedule to Friday. My wife broke down and started crying. We where getting
the run around. I had no choice but that machine had to go, so I went up to Sears factory outlet and bought yet another
washing machine and this time a machine that was very similar to what we had and with a sales man that explained the
equipment. I ask friend of mine who works as a maintinance man in an assisted living apartment building, he knew every part
of these machines. We swapped them out on when we layed down the Maytag we could not believe how cheaply it was
constructed. The new unit works exactly as we wanted with the cycles my wife required. And when she did a regular load it
only took a half an hour. I went to Appliance Smart today and the answer I got as advice for the unit we Purchased from them
is to put it on Craigs list.
To summarize Appliance Smart Does not guaranty anything or do anything with integrity. I will never buy anything from the
flim flam artists at Appliance Smart and I will do everything I can to prevent anyone else from having to deal with these crooks.
