I was victim to a Nigerian love scam. I got the story about him being robbed and his 17 year old Daughter being shot in the knee just a few days before he was to come to my state. Then he re-booked the ticket for that Saturday to be here Sunday. He supposedly lost his passport, lD, and all the money for the tickets. I was a fool and sent $500 for the new passport, etc. and then a friend of mine forked over the $3700 to send him for new plane tickets which I had to pay her back by refinaning my car. I paid the fees as well to wire the money. It was a nightmare. Hours before his plane was to arrive that Sunday he text and said they were in an accident on the way to the airport and he was in the hospital and his Daughter in a coma.
