Jones Landscaping and Design was a disaster. Paul Jones did not ever show up on time, he requested deposits for supplies - then didn't deliver them nor complete the work. When we asked him to complete the job, he asked for his final payment prior to completion. We paid $12,000 - he didn't deliver the pavers, he didn't complete planting beds, he made a mess of a walkway we had him make, he also left the beds without weed control which resulted in another mess and the need to have them redone. He installed an irrigation drain system and then left the last 6ft of drain piping off and considered it complete - this caused the drainage to spill all over the lawn and onto our beach ... taking sand away when it rained and depositing debris all over the sand. We were also informed that he was required to get a permit for the work when in fact he said a permit was not necessary per ordinance.

Paul Jones stated the job would be complete in two weeks. He took from April 2012 until June to get a few things done. His excuses ranged from "sleeping in" to having "other jobs" that require his attention!

It is our opinion that Paul Jones and his company, Jones Landscape and Design is fraudulent and incompetent.
