1.I worked as an employee (with a contract) Physician at this Hospital starting March 2012
2. I was Harassed at work by Dr. Russo, a white physician, whom I had never met before
3. Matter reported to the CEO, Mr. Brooks and the Acting Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Levinson as "harassment in work place" .
4.I Resigned end of March due to "harassment in work place" by this white physician.
5. He had already been fired on previous occasion for bad behavior and reinstated apparently in Sep. 2011 on undertaking to behave himself (source Dr. Levinson).
6. I was promised he would be made to apologize, but at the meeting I was told I would have to retract my complaint and apologize to him because I reported his behavior as bigoted . Then he in turn would apologize for his behavior. When I asked for this in writing or to have it recorded electronically, Dr. Levinson refused.
6. Reason given by Dr. Levinson that if it got out among colored staff that there was a complaint for bigoted behavior there would be a flood gate of complaints and he could not have this.
7. I had worked 162 hours at this facility but got paid for 136 hrs, despite my many contacts with the CEO and Dr. Levinson the former failed to reply and the latter lied that the check was in the mail.
8. Due to this incident I found myself out of work and could not find work till June.
9. The amount I am asking is based on the number of sessions that I was scheduled for in April and the balance of the 26hrs already owed for March. I was also scheduled for a similar number of sessions for May (but I have not made a request for May's sessions)
I need to have this matter resolved and publicized due to this intolerable behavior.(even the President and the Attorney General of this country are put through this bigoted behavior). It has to stop.
