I filled out an app for a lending clearinghouse (vendors) to explore a loan on line and before even finishing it, or getting terms, etc., the screen went blank. Next thing I know, a guy is calling me at work and telling me that I was approved for a loan with Hydrafunds Financial. I immediately told him I was not interested and not to contact me at work. A number of days later, the company deposited 300.00 in my account and then debited more. I went to my bank immediately and they instructed me to close the account and reversed the transactions. I have heard nothing further until 2 days a ago when they called as "Providence Legal Firm" threatening to sue me unless I paid thousands. Today, they have harassed me at work 4 times, and even tried to harass my employer saying they need the address to serve me with court documents. They will not give out any contact information other than their phone number. I will be contacting the FTC and other organizations.
