First of all the instructions for cleaning are only in english and most people who mop floors in the US use english as a second language. Secondly, the care of this floor is distinctly different than the care of a polyurethane based floor finish. The cleaner provided indicates on the label the ratio of cleaner to a GALLON of water. A gallon of water is the amount of water required to WET mop a floor, thus leading the person cleaning to OVER WET the floor. The only guidance about the amount of water to use is DAMP MOP. To some, especially those who mop for a living, a damp mop is a mop wet through and rung out. This floor finish cannot tolerate more than a couple drops of water on the mop. In fact water rapidly mars the finish. I only figured out what was wrong after watching my maid mop then studying this term "damp mop" and the warning not to "over wet the floor". Two months of normal mopping and my floor is unfinished now. I liked how it looked when it was new and the price, ease of finishing, low VOC were all good. I do not mind if I have to do this refinishing every year or two, but my floor is bare after two months.
