When I purchased the jack in July, 2011, I was charged $20 for porting my phone number to the jack. They proceeded to bill me twice for the porting charge. I tried in vain to get it straightened out with their online chat people so I filed a complaint with my credit card. They agreed that I was billed twice and reversed one of the charges. Since, magicjack has frozen my jack refusing to renew my service. It expires on July 10 at which time I'll lose my phone service as well as my phone number. They want to charge another $30 to release the phone number. These people have no customer service skills and don't care how many people they screw.
